Our mission is to promote mental wellness for first responders. Through our golf tournament, we raise money to support non-profit organizations that help first responders combat the effects of job-related trauma and stress.
❋ BUILT BY FIRST RESPONDERSFounded by members of the Santa Clara Fire Department & one from the San Jose Police Department, Tee It Up was created by first responders who understand the realities of the job.
❋ FIND YOUR FAIRWAYNobody plays golf the same, and nobody practices their mental health the same either. “ Find your Fairway” is our way of promoting you to find whatever modality, organization, or practice that is best for you.
❋ FUNDING THAT GOES FURTHERFunds raised go directly to nonprofit partners, helping expand programs, build resources, and create greater access to mental health and wellness support for first responders.
❋ OUR WHYPSTD and job related suicide has affected those around us at an alarming rate. We wanted to create a golf tournament to help break the stigma around mental health, promote a healthy outlet, and increase overall wellness.
❋ PARTNERING WITH PURPOSEWe partner with organizations doing the work every day, including Runestone Ranch, The S.I.R.E.N. Project, and Knot on Call.
❋ SUPPORT BEYOND THE COURSEThe tournament brings us together, but the impact continues long after the last putt. Every year helps us expand access to resources for first responders and their families.
